Jewelry Making
Botanical Preservation & Resin Craft
Each piece begins with the careful selection of botanicals.
I harvest flowers, leaves, and natural elements directly from the garden at their ideal stage of maturity to ensure optimal color, structure, and longevity. Once picked, the botanicals are dried using controlled methods that help maintain their shape, pigmentation, and fine details.
After drying, every element is inspected, trimmed, and prepared for composition.
Working with precision tools, I create miniature arrangements inside custom molds — balancing color, scale, and form to achieve a harmonious design. This stage requires meticulous placement, often using fine tweezers and micro-brushes to position petals and fragments exactly where they belong.
Once the arrangement is set, the piece is encased in high-quality, UV-resistant resin.
Multiple thin layers are poured and cured , enhance clarity, and protect the botanical elements from wear and discoloration over time.
The finished components are then sanded, refined, and polished by hand before being assembled into necklaces, earrings, keychains, and other accessories using carefully selected findings and metal finishes.
This process — from garden to final polish — ensures that each piece is both durable and beautifully crafted, preserving a real fragment of nature in a wearable, long-lasting form.
